Biscuit Biscuit Biscuit. What a great pup! It's like this pup new that it was posing time... From looking at the camera and the tilting of the head. Biscuit rocked it out with great style and in great time!

Look into those eyes. Tell me you don't see that soul in there looking out. This pup is loved beyond belief and it shows with the confidence.

(sign up over there -->>> To receive the blog when new posts happen)

I came across some awesome pet name tags on Etsy and just had to share. I just think they're pretty cool. We all know that our pets are unique, so shouldn't we hook them up with a tag that's just as cool and unique as they are!!! You can check out the creators Etsy page ::here:: or by clicking on the tag below. (they have a great selection of different types of tags)

And along with some unique tags you could always rock it out with some unique pet portraits by checking us out at WWW.MUDDYPAWSTUDIOS.COM generally working with dog portrait photography but will rock out a session with anything. I mean, I've worked with a lizard, a rat, an alpaca, so why not.

Because this girl here! What a great pup. Totally food motivated and well, its probably a good thing that she didn't come home with me because there's NO WAY I wouldn't be able to refuse anything to that wrinkly little face!

She was just the most adorable. And much like every other pup, she was in her own world. Exploring, coming back for a treat and if not received fast enough, exploring again. Yet totally chill.

You can tell that she's got a life ahead of her full of lazy days and tasty treats.....

KELLS!!!!

A pure bundle of joy. Running, bouncing and pouncing from one corner to the other.

Curious with the studio and not so curious about the camera. haha... Kells is pure love though. Sweetness that is almost too much to take.

So to Kells and her parents, thank you! And the best part about this shoot is it's just the beginning as an engagement session in Central Park will be happening soon and then next year the awesome wedding!!!

WOOT WOOT!!!

What big ears you have - The fun of being a dog portrait photographer in Ct. NYC area.

So there you have it. Such a cute little peanut. The only thing, don't try to tell secrets around her! Her constant look of "love me" makes you want to just pick her up and put her in your pocket! But her fierce bark and bite is unreal!!! (She really doesn't have a mean bone in her body!)

She's just love. Love. Love.....

And check out those delicious sweaters that her grandmother makes for her out of "scraps"... Wish someone would make me something fashionable out of scraps!

Tell me you wouldn't want one of those sweet sweaters for your pup??? You can't can you.

Just had to share this sweet little pup!

An old soul... By Muddy Paw Studios Ct. NYC Boston Dog Portraits

So when I'm working with pups, I do take control. Not in a crazy way, but in a way that they know I'm here for a reason and they're there because they're the star!

This pup, he was all there. He didn't need a thing. And just looking at him, I could tell he was such an old soul. I don't even know what to say about him. He was at ease, as if to say, "yes, you may take my photos, I am king..."

He's the type that when he's playing he's a dog, but when he's facing you, he is Mr. Dog...

With out further hesitation............

A beautiful soul...

Many, so many of us know that the Staffordshire Terrier (the pitbull).... It is for sure one of the most unfortunate breeds in the dogs kingdom. And because of that, there are so many of these pups sitting, caged in and longing for that family to take care of them, to show them love and to reciprocate that love 10 times over....

This girl here is so precious. Her past keeps her at bay, but the love flows out....

And once you break down that wall, she is, for sure, the sweetest pup around!

If there was ever proof that the pit bull is one of the best family dogs out there, she's it!!! So no matter what you hear, know that if you can rescue one of these beautiful beautiful pups, you won't be let down. Don't take my word for it. Go meet one today!!!

"Pit Bulls tend to LOVE people. All people. This makes them a poor choice for a "guardian breed". Most of them are simply too friendly to protect a house against strangers."

Research the breed on your own and you will see how mis-understood they are. And no matter what kind of pup you're looking into, RESEARCH the breed to make sure they're right for you!!!
